MGK-PACK dd Rijeka was founded as the Packaging Factory of Milan Smokvina Tvrdog in Martinšćica - Kostrena, 4 kilometers from Rijeka. The factory moved to Rijeka in 1953, and got its current name MGK-PACK dd in 1993, when the privatization process began. In 2000, the complete relocation of the factory to a new location, a free customs zone, in the Kukuljanovo industrial zone was completed.
Over the years, the factory has had a constant rise and today it is a factory equipped with modern high-efficiency machines, and with its 103 employees and an annual capacity of processing white sheet of 5,000 tons, it has become the leading factory for the production of metal packaging in Croatia.
